The purpose of “Discount For Military” is to highlight businesses around Fort Bliss, White Sand Missile Range (WSMR), and Holloman AFB that offer discounts for military members and their families. Look for the “We offer a military discount” decal at businesses in El Paso, Las Cruces and Alamogordo.

“Discount For Military” was started by a soldier stationed at Fort Bliss. “Discount For Military” is a not for profit organization. Before “Discount For Military” was established, the majority of local businesses around Fort Bliss, White Sand Missile Range (WSMR), and Holloman AFB offered discounts for military members and their families. However they did not publicize it making it hard for military member to know which businesses offered military discounts. With the “We offer a military discount” decal displayed in highly visible areas of local businesses, military members can easily identify local businesses that support the military. These “We offer a military discount” decal are offered to businesses that support the military members and their families at no cost.

In conjunction with the “We offer a military discount” decal, “Discount For Military” operates DiscountForMilitary.org website. This website lists participating businesses surrounding Fort Bliss, White Sand Missile Range (WSMR), and Holloman AFB. Included on the DiscountForMilitary.org website, is the name, contact information, brief description of the business and the discount they offer to the military member.
